We are sad to announce that our friend and Managing Partner at Footsiebath of Beverly Hills, Sasha Vinokur, passed away on Saturday, March 28. He was only 43 years old.
His mother, Genya Vinokur began as a manicurist whose dedication to sanitary nail services led to the creation of FootsieBath Foot Spas. When Sasha grew up, he took on the family business.
Sasha was equally passionate about what he did and a born salesman; he loved skiing, good old rock n’ roll, and starting his day bright and early at 5am. In a recent interview, he also shared that a perfect day was, “Going to the warehouse or office and the phone doesn’t stop ringing. Then getting on a plane to the next trade show.” He will be greatly missed by family and friends as well as the nail community.
