Nail Art Tutorial: Citrus Frenzy

Use the new SuperNail ProGel Tropical Pop collection to do this citrus manicure!

Sn Img Citrus Fizzy Step1Step 1: Using ProGel in Clean Linens, apply a thin coat over the entire nail covering the free edge, avoiding the cuticle area and curing 30 seconds under an LED lamp or 2 minutes under a UV lamp.  Repeat process with a second coat.

 

Sn Img Citrus Fizzy Step2Step 2: Using Magenta Me Wild, draw an outline in the center of the nail leaving two white spaces; a large semi-circle toward the bottom and a smaller semi-circle toward the top. Using a thin nail art brush, fill in the outline with same color. Clean up the edges and cure. Apply a second coat, clean up the edges, and cure.

 

Sn Img Citrus Fizzy Step3Step 3: Using Lickity Lime draw an arch in the smaller white semi-circle, leaving a thin line of white on the outside. Thinly fill in the shape with the same color and using a thin nail art brush, drag it upward on the semi-circle creating three sections. Then, using a dotting tool, apply three large green dots on the magenta area. Cure.

 

Sn Img Citrus Fizzy Step4Steps 4: Using Orange You Hawt, draw an arch in the larger white semi-circle, leaving a thin line of white on the outside. Thinly fill in the shape with the same color and using a thin nail art brush, drag it down the semi-circle creating three sections and clean up the edges. Then, using a dotting tool, apply three small orange dots on the magenta area. Cure.

Step 5: Apply one coat of ProGel Top Coat. Be sure to cover the free edge of the nail and avoid the cuticle area. Cure and cleanse using ProGel Gel Cleanser to remove the sticky layer from the top of the nail.
