The month of Spring/Summer 2016 fashion started with a bang at the Fashion Palette show at Pier 59 Studios. The founder of non-profit Polished Girlz Alanna Wall took the place as the youngest manicurist on the Orly International team during the event, which featured 19 Australian fashion designers and 30 models. Wall has been featured on Ellen, received the Nickelodeon HALO (Helping and Leading Others) Award, and has now had the opportunity to work at several Fashion Week shows to gain greater awareness for her cause.

The Fashion Palette show featured 19 Australian fashion designers; the first half focused on sportswear so a ballerina pink (Orly Angel Face) seemed like the natural choice. Since the second half of the show was centered on evening wear, Wall and her team quickly added a gold glitter gradient accent using Orly Too Fab to each of the 30 models’ pink manicures.
