Festival season is officially here!
With Coachella kicking off a spring/summer season of festivals, Beauty Daily by Clarins decided to look into Pinterest data to crunch the numbers to find out what nail trends we can expect to see over the coming months.
Here's a look at three trending festival nail sets, so you can be prepared to create these looks for your clients this festival season.
Neon Green Nails
According to Pinterest, neon lime nail searches have increased by +3,500% from last year. It's clear that Hailey Bieber is responsible for this growing trend from weekend one of Coachella, rocking her lime green mani that glows-in-the-dark. 'Glow nails' have also surged +400% this month alone.
Artist Inspired Nails
Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, which continues until August in the U.S., is inspiring nail designs, as searches for Eras Tour nails dominated Pinterest beauty trends with a +10,000% increase. Characterized by a different color on each nail to represent each of the singer's albums, this trend is dominating.
Puerto Rican singer Rauw Alejandro is also driving a surge in nail designs for his Saturno tour, with a +10,000% increase. Think outer space sparkles, chrome and stiletto shapes.
Y2K Chrome
With the rise of Y2K looks for festivals, chrome nails are in! Pastel chrome nails saw the biggest increase at 7,000%, with 'lavender chrome' dominating amongst pastels, with a +4,500% increase compared to last year. OPI's Funny Bunny and Bubble Bath Chrome searches also increased by 10,000%.
