At Premiere Orlando, we noticed product launches were trending in flash lamps, jellies, bright shimmery summer shades, neons and gels, and we get into detail on these introductions.

The show floor at Premiere Orlando was buzzing with nail technicians and salon owners looking for the latest in nail technology and art.

The Nailpro team had our boots on the ground with the mission to visit as many vendors as possible to see what is new and exciting in the industry. We noticed product launches were trending in flash lamps, jellies, bright shimmery summer shades, neons and gels, and we get into detail on these introductions below.

1. Flash Lamps

Flash lamps are great to have on hand when curing tips or nail art. We saw some fun and innovative flash lamps at a few companies.

As part of both its Kuromi and Hello Kitty capsule collections, Aprés Nail created very fun flash lamps in both designs to cure the tips exclusive to both. Even more clever about these flash lamps is their beam is not a solid circle or square, but rather a bow or cat to match the Hello Kitty or Kuromi motifs. The kits were offered with all the products needed for their signature looks along with the flash lamp.

NotPolish Nail Design has also created a new flash cure lamp. This lamp is not only cordless, but it is tap activated and magnetic to ensure total portability and convenience.

2. Jellies

Jelly nails have been a big request this spring, and the nail product creators out there have noticed.

Nailz by Dev introduced its Spring Fling Gel Collection, with eight pastel, holographic and glitter jelly colors: Hott Chick, Cherry Blossom, She's A Peach, Honey Bee, Lemon Drop, Spring Love, Rainy Dayz and Lavender Honey. These jelly glitters cure from anywhere between 30 and 120 seconds.

Two Guys also released a Jelly collection perfect for summer. This line is on pre-order, but the 12 shades ran the gamut from neon yellow to maroon jelly.

CND's most recent launch — its Summer 2024 collection Gleam & Glow — draws inspiration from the heartwarming traditions across Eastern cultures, where nights filled with lights and color symbolize a wish for fortune, happiness, and love. The six new, vibrant shades feature playful iridescence, radiant glitter and a sheer jelly effect.

3. Futuristic Shades

As we all look into new technology, AI and next gen ingredients, some brands have taken new lines into the future of the nail industry.

Although Light Elegance's Out of This World collection includes six ButterCream shades with matching art gel, we couldn't take our eves off of the six glitter gels with matching art gels, with names like Mercury Melt Down, I Need Some Space and Over the Moon.

CND's ACROSS THE MANIVERSE is a mood-boosting collection of holographic finishes, fantastical colors and psychedelic motifs. These six shades, as part of its Spring 2024 collection, are available as both Vinylux and Shellac.

4. Neon

Is there a better time for neons than summer? As the weather warms up, brands have gotten on the train with beautiful neon shades perfect to perk up any pedi.

The Neon Summer collection by Magic Gel includes five neon shades and three shimmers to top them off. Honey's Nail Secret introduced a Neon 4-in-1 Collection with 11 shades in acrylic, gel and lacquer options.

Inspired by the beautiful beaches and colors of Hawaii, Beauty Innovation introduced its Hawaii Collection of six bright colorful shades. Our favorite is Ohana, a bright orange, but the bright yellow Aloha is definitely a close second.

5. Gel Tech

We were excited to see innovation in gel technology for the nail industry!

OPI blew everyone away with its new gel technology, Intelli-Gel. This new formulation technology is highly pigmented for better coverage, is HEMA-free and vegan, can be soaked off without filing, self-levels and, with increased viscosity, can be used for both polishing and art purposes. Attendees got a sneak peak of the new collection, which doesn't officially launch until September.

Le Chat has done away with top coats for its gel polishes with its Color & Top in One Coat collection. With the collection, gel manicures need less product and can save both the tech and the client some time without sacrificing durability.
